The story behind the set…
A lot goes in to the making of one of our fabulous sets.. It all starts with an idea for a theme.
Then I draw up some sketches of my ideas and bounce them off of my staff (Lady).
After that I usually consume as much inspiration as a can based on the current theme, usually so much so that I become complete sick of whatever the theme is after it’s all said and done.
Then the shopping starts, tons of it… Our big themes, take a lot of shopping and planning for the end result. Then usually about 40 hours of editing the combined images. In the end it all pays off when I am able to capture amazing images. I hope that you enjoy my labor of love... The Let them eat cake theme shoot. Stunning images to follow soon!

After a lot of thought, we have decide to take some of our theme shoots and make them mini.
You will get all of the fun that our theme shoot offer. We just scaled it down a bit. This will help out our girls that book every theme shoot. Because once you do one, you will want to do them all.
Our mini theme shoot for Halloween will be spooky night.

Pinups For Pitbulls

Hey guys!
This weekend we had a blast at the APBF Benefit Concert! We teamed up with Celia from Pinup Posies to represent Pinups For Pitbulls!
We got to meet so many wonderful people, including Shorty from Animal Planet's Pit Boss and singer/songwriter John Shipe!
It was so much fun and we were able to raise money and awareness for this wonderful cause!
Today marks the beginning of our month hiatus from work. We will come back to the studio in August all jacked up on creativity and ready to rock!

We've received a lot of questions about the process and hopefully we can answer them here!
Sugar Heart is an alternative magazine for those who love pinups, burlesque, vintage art and design, pulp literature, rockabilly, photography, tattoos and the good old days. Thus, submissions should be in line with those interests.
We are looking for models, artists, writers, bloggers, designers and anyone else who has something they would like featured.

Photo submissions for models must be taken and edited by a professional photographer. You must sign a release form and have the permission of the photographer and don't forget to give credit where credit is due (model's name, photographer's name and hair/makeup artist name).

CherryBlossoms has been crazy busy the past few weeks, but we love it!
We finished the demo cover for our magazine, Sugar Heart, and launched the website and fan page for it!
The release date is set for November 2, 2011 and we are now accepting submissions from pinup photographers and models. We also have ad space still available so if you're interested email us at

Yes, ladies...summer is HERE!!
Which means it's time to break out your swimmers and head to the beach!
Choosing a swimmer can be a grueling experience, especially if (like us) you don't have many local shopping options and are forced to buy online.
One thing to remember when buying online is that each store has their own sizing guideline, so measuring yourself is crucial! Most sites have their own sizing chart with measurements and that is what you should go by!
